Market Leaders
A2B Worthing have teamed up with market Leaders, Exel Management, to use their Mercurymobile booking and despatch technology.
Mercurymobile is the product of years of market research and customer feedback. Since 2005, we have worked together to provide a booking and despatch facility that is second to none in this area.
The system works by sending each booking via a GPRS signal to the Driver's PDA. This PDA is then able to be Satellite tracked by our call centre. For safe measures, each driver has their local road knowedge backed up by their PDA, as each one is installed with tomtom satalite navigation. This cuts down on drivers not having to look in Map books if they should forget an address. It is there for them at the touch of a button.
Call Back
This is a free facility that enables you to know when a driver is approaching.
When you book a car with our Call Centre simply ask them for "Callback" on your booking.
Now save the number "01903216093" into your phone under the name "A2B Approaching".
When the driver is in your road or outside the Bar/Restaurant you are in, they will press a button on their PDA which will send a signal back to a remote line in the Call Centre that will ring your phone twice to let you know they are there.
If you save the above number under "A2B Approaching" you do not have to answer the door, instead just put your coat on and go outside, no more twiching the curtains and pacing around waiting.
Autobook
Autobook is another Free Facility that A2B Worthing offers, this time to Business premises such as Restaurants, Hair Salons and Dentists.
These businesses are given a completely seperate number to call, the twist is that nobody will actually answer the call, meaning that as the call "technically" does not connect at our end, the phone company will not charge you for the call.
Our Advanced Call Centre's phone system will regognise the incoming Autobook call (number) and instantly put an Autobook booking into our booking system, from the business in question, at the top of the queue and be despatched to the next available driver.
All that needs to be done from the business end are 4 simple steps.
1 Pick up the Phone
2 Dial the number you are given by the A2B Worthing Office
3 Let the phone ring Twice
4 Put the phone down again
The business will get 2 comfirmation rings back on the same phone to let you know the Autobook booking has been accepted. Simple!
